I traveled to Guatemala and first drafted this post in 2019 and updated it in 2020 after I had returned home from my travels, following a few months of adjustment back into adulting. A Day in Singapore

Now put the foundations under them.” — Henry David Thoreau Quick Layover I arrived in Singapore after leaving the temples and volcanos of Java Indonesia. This was my last stop in Asia before heading home for a few months. It’s really just a prolonged layover really. I was barely in the city for 48 hours. The sun still lay sleepily below the horizon while I sleepily got dressed. It was 3am. On this day, I was scheduled to meet a van filled with foreigners and a local tour guide at 3:30 am. We were headed to Borobudur Temple. A.k.a. The largest Buddhist temple in the world. I came to Yogyakarta to see Borobudur. And a few other things. But mostly this temple. Hey friends! So a lot of people (AT LEAST 3) have asked me lately – where’s your blog? Well it turns out that writing a blog and making visually interesting website to show it on is actually a crap ton work. Not only do I need to write a bunch of stuff, but I had to figure out technology do-thingys and that takes a while.
